TaylorMade R11 Driver brings new technology, innovation, and aesthetics to the proud R11 line of TaylorMade drivers. With its distinctive white crown and black face, the TaylorMade R11 Driver is one of the easiest drivers to align at address ever, while massive technological features ensure the proper fit for all players, allowing you to maximize distance through proper loft, face angle, and flight path adjustability. TaylorMade R11 Driver realizes the 3D adjustability system through Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) Technology, Flight Control Technology (FCT) and Moveable Weight Technology (MWT).
FCT allows players to tune loft by utilizing a metallic sleeve located over the tip of the shaft. The sleeve can be rotated into different positions, changing the characteristics of the clubhead, by loosening the bolt that secures the sleeve and shaft into the clubhead. Usually when you tune the loft, the face angle will change correspondingly, but the ASP Technology offers players the ability to adjust the face angle independently of the loft. With the MWT, players can adjust the center of gravity (CG) location. The discretionary clubhead weight of R11 Driver can be easily redistributed to change the characteristics of the club. By moving differently weighted cartridges, using a proprietary TaylorMade wrench, into strategically positioned ports, CG can be optimized positioned by every golfer. Positioning more weight in the heel and less in the toe, speeds club head rotation during the forward swing, golfers can promote a draw and/or reduces a slice.
TaylorMade R11 Driver promotes up to 100 yards of side-to-side trajectory changes and 1,000 RPM backspin change, providing you with consistent power and distance. Its new aerodynamic shape promotes faster clubhead speed for increased distance, 6 yards longer than the R9 Supertri driver.
This is what a pro golfer says about R11 driver. “I have had about 3 TM drivers since the 360 came out so I’m not an every new model person. I tried out several new models and after the adjustments I went with the R11 driver was for me. It’s nice to find a driver you can adjust the lie angle, being 6’4″ and close the face a bit until you get your swing down pat.”
