Bought R11 Driver

Whenever a new driver is launched into the market, we look at them with big expectations but often get disappointed. However, the new taylormade r11 driver will never let you down.

I bought this driver at the end of August ’11. I have been playing the 09' Burner which is a great stick as well but with the TaylorMade R11 Driver it seems easier to dial in. This is what I was looking for. I love the great adjustable face. You can change the loft with it. I like the flight of a 9.5 ..probably picked up 15..to 20 yards.

I like to see the ball fly so i would suggest getting to the range and see it for yourself I did play with my settings a little..do some research on the adjustments u are making..it made it more fun that i was able to change different things and try different set ups..With my Burner I was a typical Slicer from time to time...seems like with a closed face on the R-11 my drives typically now have a nice little fade..I do get the occasional slice but it seems far n fewer between drives..i'm finally confident swinging at 90% on the T Box..it's a great get.

This R11 Driver offers a lot of features that are not seen before. It is inbuilt with the Flight-Control-Technology that provides you the ability to control the degree of loft. You can adjust the degree of loft by shifting to one of the 8 settings provided by r11. R11 is featuring the Movable-Weight-Technology that allows the golfer to shift the ball trajectory both sides within 25 yards. Adding a fade or draw becomes easier with this feature. Another feature added to this driver is the Adjustable-Sole-Technology that consists of 3 settings: neutral, open, and close. You can create a +2 degree or -2 degree variation on the driver’s face-angle by setting the driver into open or closed mode.

I have a 28 handicap and was worried that this was too much driver for a player at my level. But, I loved the look and bought it in June anyway. Happy to say it has been a great Summer of driving with it! I love it! I have the 9 degree, adjusted to 9.5, with a R flex shaft. I do think the Adjustable Sole Plate is a do-nothing gimmick though!

If you don't get this club set up properly, it can really hinder your game. I had a long review written about my trials working with Golfsmith to get my R11 squared away, but the bottom line is this. Get it set up correctly and you will love it.

Easy Swing with R11 Driver

If you are a golf player, you must own one TaylorMade r11 driver. If you don't own one yet, the following talking will give you some guide to this driver.

Why you need to own one TaylorMade R11 driver, and there is 5 good reasons to buy the TaylorMade R11 Driver

1. Ideal for the mid range to low handicap golfer who is consistently good at getting off the tee well.

2. A club that is well balanced with a softer flex and feel so you get cushioning at the point of impact – making it club that's easy to swing

3. Consistency in results in terms of forgiveness and accuracy – giving you straighter, longer golf shots off the tee.

4. Greater distances when compared to other average drivers capabilities, ranging from above average to really bombing it with the longest ever tested on the golf range.

5. Very high playabilty you can make a fast and aggressive swing without any fears of a wild hook due to clubface being flexible in a players adjustments.

The one golf driver everybody is talking about at the moment is TaylorMade's R11 golf driver – which is new for 2011 and already is getting top ratings on the PGA Tour. Mid to low handicapped golfer, who is on different golf courses week in and week out, you will love this driver.

Taylormade R11 begins the next wave or generation of adjustable face drivers using it's new Adjustable Sole Plate Technology (ASP), which allows you to adjust lofts and the face angle separately. This is a big difference in terms of Taylormade's techonological evolution from its previous clubs such as the R9.

TayorMade R11′s attractive and uniquely white club head has all multiple aspects covered with combined technology of 48 different settings, will allow you more control and greater distances from your tee shots.

The TaylorMade R11 did not disappoint in testing today, as the stats it produced cannot lie.  As I first picked up the driver and held it in position to swing, the first thing that hits you is the size of the clubhead.  Since it's all white (with a new non-glare surface) it appears to be much larger than its' 440 cc size.  We won't lie and say it doesn't look large at address, but some may find it comforting to have that look.  Personally, I do not, I prefer a smaller shaped head, that's more traditional-looking clubhead like the R9 Superdeep.  However, having said that, the second thing that hits you is how well-balanced the club feels in your hands.  It does feel heavier than the Burner Superfast 2.0, but better balanced.  As you swing it lightly, like a waggle, you can really feel the increased MOI the weighting provides.

The new, more aerodynamic shape of the R11 head is touted to be 6 yards longer than the 2010 R9 SuperTri.

Having the ability to choose your tee-off angle – either increase it or decrease it (thanks to Taylormade's Flight Control Technology) you can even select select closed, neutral face angle and adjust your face angle – promoting a fade or draw shots in accordance to what is required on a golf course's layout. This flexibility in each individual shot selection allows you get longer and straighter drives – certainly a stand-out feature of this 440cc white head driver and regarded as a real straight shooter.
